Stopped in for a quick bite, very impressed with their vegetarian options. Can't wait to go back! This time we tried Yellow Bird (very good) and fried tofu with Chinese broccoli (good)

The food was fantastic! I absolutely love duck and this place serves duck the way I like it! Wrapping the succulent duck meat, crispy skin, green onions with a generous amount of hoisin(plum) sauce in this soft warm wrapper is an experience everyone should have! The savory goodness of the duck and the crispy skin paired with the freshness of the green onions and the hoisin sauce that ties everything together! Mmm! So good! Their Chinese style Kung Pao chicken was very tasty! Dumplings were on point—crispy on the bottom and the filling was perfectly seasoned juicy goodness! The watercress with garlic veggie was yummy. We also had the Yang Chow fried rice and Pan fried noodles. The fried rice was really good! Pan fried noodles came out nice and crispy. The sauce was more shiitake mushroom flavored, which I like and others at the table weren’t as big a fan of. I will say that it could have used more seafood though! It was still great though! The showstopper dish is without a doubt the duck! It won’t disappoint!

This is one of the best in the triangle... This is authentic Chinese food you get a lot for your money the staff is so friendly the restaurant is clean the price is very good for the amount of food you get... I'm so impressed....

Super happy with our first visit here! Hubby and I both ordered egg drop soup and an egg roll each, then shared a Sweet & Sour chicken with white rice entry...yummy! Small (about 8 tables with mixed numbers of seating available....there was a group of 8 at one table), cozy and really clean. We’ll be back!

Great authentic Chinese restaurants. I don't recall last time we ate at a Chinese restaurant and was worth the review till now. Great food, employee and cozy environment. Highly recommended.

Very, Very consistent quality Chinese food in North Carolina. Fair priced. As an international student from China, Taipei Cafe has became my second dining room in Raleigh. It has the MOST FAIR PRICED Peking Duck, as well as other dishes. I have not had a single dish that is disappointing unlike many other restaurants. Usually Chinese restaurants have their chief coming from a certain part of China which they cannot make good food of other part of China, but Taipei Cafe sticked to what they are good at! If you enjoy real Chinese food, come here. It is the best in Raleigh. It will not break your bank either
